If you want to try the simple life, you have the opportunity here. This is the fishing bow from the 70s with simple conditions. It takes you about 1 1/2 hours to walk to the cabin. Here it is completely on its own with poor telephone coverage and few people. It is a short way to the fishing lake, which is included during your stay. 2 beds.

Here you will experience the feeling of being alone. You become part of the mountain in an area with few people. Not infrequently you will see reindeer through the window close to the bow. If the weather cooperates, you may be able to enjoy your morning coffee outside the cabin with a concert from the cackling grouse. If you want to explore the area, just choose which way you want to go when you get out the door. There are many possibilities here.

A stone's throw from the cabin there is a fishing lake where you have the opportunity to fish during your stay. There is also a rowing boat available, which you can dispose of if you wish. Children can have just as much pleasure fishing for small trout in the river just outside the cabin wall. In winter, you can lie on the ice and fish for trout.

The cabin has a very simple standard, but is equipped with the necessary kitchen utensils. Cooking takes place with gas or primus. The cabin is equipped with an old oven. Firewood is available so you can get warm after a long day out in the mountains.

The cabin is located in the high mountains quite far from people. It is therefore important to bring clothing and necessary equipment for all kinds of weather. Guests must also bring their own sleeping bags.

Access

Summer: There are various options, but the most common is to park along the road at the end of Lake Tyin. Walk on the forest road up to the lake Øyangen. At the end of the road/dam you walk along the west side of Øyangen to the cabin.

Winter: Parking at the end of Lake Tyin. There are several alternative route choices with skis. The whole ski trip takes about 1 1/2 hours depending on luggage, weather, road and route choice. It is also possible to order scooter transport at an additional cost.
